How to Help

The AJ Foundation relies on the generosity and support of individuals and organizations who share their passion to help enrich the lives of children and adults with autism.

The majority of donations are used to help offset the operational expenses and to facilitate the growth and expansion of The Comprehensive Learning Center (CLC), our non-profit private school that provides education, service, and training for individuals with autism. A lesser portion of the proceeds help support the AJ Foundation's continued efforts to educate the public about autism and the most effective methods of teaching individuals with autism. The AJ Foundation historically donates over 98% of all net proceeds from its fundraising activities to CLC.

In addition to participating in fundraising events, there are a variety of ways you can make a tax deductible contribution:

Sponsor an Event

Sponsoring an event is a great way for companies to show the community their support, get public recognition, drive retail traffic and build community networks while helping The AJ Foundation meet its critical fundraising goals. We hold five major fundraisers each year that provide sponsorship opportunities. In addition to financial support, sponsorships can include donations of equipment, event prizes and other products and services. Call or email us today with your questions or suggestions on how your organization can benefit from becoming an official AJ Foundation sponsor.

Employer Sponsored Campaigns and Gift Matching

United Way Donations: If you (or your employer) participate in the annual United Way campaign, you can designate The AJ Foundation as your preferred donation recipient. Recruitment of co-workers, or family members/friends of a participating organization, is a good and easy way to get donations for the foundation through these campaigns as well. AJF will provide the proper information for the United Way pledge form. Often, employers will match the contribution dollar for dollar.

Employer Sponsored Campaigns - Similar to the United Way Campaign, employers sponsor their own Gift-Giving Campaigns which provide employees the opportunity to donate to their favorite charity. Simply request that The AJ Foundation to be added to the list of charitable organizations at your place of work, and select us during your next Gift-Giving Campaign.

Employer Gift Matching - Many companies match employees’ donations to charitable events and organizations. Please inquire if your employer, or those of your family and friends, provide this type of funding opportunity.
